I can't stop thinking about how horrible it was, and how confused and afraid she must have been. I keep thinking we should have taken her to vet to get IV fluids, even if he said to wait, how we shouldn't have listened to him, and she could have lived longer. Up until those last few days when the anemia was really getting her down, her quality of life was good. I don't believe she ever felt any pain aside from those final moments when she was struggling to breathe. I'm not sure what I'm hoping for in posting this. I guess I'd like to know if you think she suffered or if there was more we could have done.
